Veronica Ngechu is a licensed mental health professional with expansive training and experience in various fields of applied psychology.
Simon Maingi - Counselling Psychologist (KCPA)
Simon is a registered Counselling Psychologist (KCPA) with seven years of experience in both teaching and practice with a specialization in family and marriage counselling.
Njigina Macharia - MHPSS Specialist
Njigina is an experienced Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) specialist with expertise in psychotherapy, clinical supervision, debriefing, and capacity-building. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Counselling Psychology and is pursuing a Master’s in the same field.
A Certified Associate Counsellor with KCPA, she is also trained in WHO’s mhGAP and scalable psychological interventions. With over a decade of experience, Njigina has played a key role in integrating MHPSS into protection, child protection, and GBV response while strengthening staff well-being and resilience for frontline humanitarian workers.

Dr James M. Kimani is a senior lecturer at Maasai Mara University, in the field of psychology. He has long experience in teaching ,research, supervision and consultancy. Dr. Kimani is a trained mental health professional with over 15 years practicing experience in psychotherapy. Areas of specialization include but not limited to: working with individuals experiencing PTSD, complex trauma, Domestic violence, military trauma, as well as trauma informed approaches. Other areas of competence are: Addiction couselling couple therapy, adolescent counselling, career counselling and assessment, Anxiety and Depression counselling.
